Yangon to Mandalay by flight. |
 |
Welcoming at Mandalay airport. Visit
Ava (Innwa), U-Bein Bridge, Amarapura and Maha Gandayon Monastery on
the way to hotel. These tour sites of ancient cities are closer to
airport than to City. |

Check-in at hotel and continue
sightseeing Mandalay, Ku-tho-daw Pagoda, Shwe-Kyaung, Atu-mashi and
visit Mandalay Hill to enjoy sunset view of Mandalay Plain, River
Irrawaddy and Sagaing Hills beyond. |

| Day 3: |

After breakfast take a sightseeing trip
by car to Mingun across the River Irrawaddy. |
 |
Mingun Bell is the World's largest
(working) bronze bell. Continue sightseeing at Sagaing Hills. Lunch
at Sagaing. And visit traditional silver smith industry and
Kaung-mu-daw Stupa.
Return to Mandalay by the Ava Bridge, one of a pre-war monolith.

Visit to hill station town of
PyinOoLwin for the day trip. The car drive will take about 1½ hours
to 2 hours. Sightseeing at PyinOoLwin. Return back to Mandalay in the
evening. |

After breakfast set out to Mon-ywa by
car, about 136 km to the west of Mandalay. It is the commercial
center of Chindwin Valley. Visit Than-bok-de Pagoda, Bodhi-ta-taung
Hillock and Ledi Kyaungteik monastery. |

Monywa to Bagan by the river cruising
chartered boat, with day seats. |
 |
Beginning with sunrise view on River
Chindwin, this riverine day trip will carry Irrawaddy and Chindwin
views of unsurpassed traveling experience. Down stream takes 4 ½
hours. Estimated time of arrival at Bagan 14:00 hours.
Transfer to hotel, sightseeing Bagan for the afternoon. |

For the whole morning, sightseeing at
the world's renowned ancient city of Bagan by the car. After taking
lunch, set out a 45 minutes drive to Mount Popa, oasis of the dry
zone. Climb up Taung-ka-lat, an offshoot of Mount Popa, by the 777
steps of sheltered stair case. Taung-ka-lat is 400 feet high above
its base. Return back to capture the scenic view of Bagan Sunset. |

Take a car ride to Sa-lay where rare
cultural works of wood carvings, lacquer ware Buddha image and other
monuments of remarkable handicrafts. It is a half day trip. Continue
sightseeing the highlights of Bagan. |

Morning sightseeing around Bagan. After
Lunch refreshment at Hotel and transfer to airport. Take an evening
flight to Yangon. |

After breakfast visit the Village of
National Races where traditional habitats are displayed. In spite of
artificiality it is good place to observe the traditional utensils,
building styles, pattern of adornments and especially the merging and
uniqueness of each style among major Asian trends. |

Take a car ride to Kyauk-Tan and Syriam,
across the Bago River to the east of Yangon. Syriam is one of a
famous City state seaport by the time International traveling started
spreading out. The dominant Mon cultural monuments of thousand year
old could be visited. Visit Kyaik-Khauk Pagoda. Pass by Industrial
Estate and Thilawa Jetty. Visit Ye-Le Pagoda at Kyauk-Tan. Lunch at
Syriam. Return back to residing hotel and refreshment. |
