Embodiment

     Mya-Thein-Tan Pagoda of Min-Gun is on the West bank of River Irrawaddy across Mandalay. Striking structure and unusual ornaments gives a wonderful sight of Myanmar.

     More importantly the concept of architecture aim to embody Myanmar perception of universal truth. Seven wavy terraces rising up stand for seven oceans and seven ranges leading up to seventh heavenly existence. Upon that platform it raises the pagoda proper with five tiers commemorating Sula-muni Chedi.
