MUSE ENTRY

19 Days / 18 Nights Tour
Muse – Hsipaw – Mandalay – Bagan – Inle Lake – Ngapali Beach – Yangon

Day 1:

  • Arrival Muse from Ruli. Tour Guide will be welcoming at Kye-gaung Check Point with the car to transfer to hotel; and sightseeing at Muse.
  • Overnight at Muse.

Day 2:

  • Visit Namhkan, which lay 19 miles (31 km) SW of Muse, for the day trip by car.
  • After sightseeing at Namhkan, return to Muse.
  • Overnight at Muse.

Day 3:

  • After breakfast, set out to Hsipaw by car. It takes 6~7 hours drive.
  • Sightseeing in Hsipaw.
  • Overnight at Hsipaw.

Day 4:

  • After breakfast, take a boat trip (1 ½ hrs trip) to confluence of two rivulets, Namtu and Dokhtawaddy (Dok-ta-wad-dy River). Return back to Hsipaw, on the way visit Swunlon Shan Village.
  • After lunch, visit Shan spirit shrine and some old stupas.
  • Enjoy the sunset view from Koehsu hill.
  • Overnight at Hsipaw.

Day 5:

  • Return back to Mandalay. Transfer to Hotel.
  • Overnight at Mandalay.

Day 6:

  • Take a sightseeing trip to Mingun across the River Ayeyarwaddy by private boat, to see the world largest (working) bronze bell of Mingun Bell.
  • Pahtoedawgyi Pagoda, Hsinbyume Paya and Myatheindan Pagoda.
  • Proceed to Sagaing by the same boat. Sightseeing car will be waiting at Hton-bo Jetty and then tour around Sagaing Area by car. Lunch at Sagaing.
  • Transfer to Oh-Dote-Tan Jetty and proceed to Ava (Innwa) by public ferry sampan boat to cross the Dut-Hta-waddy River, one tributary of River Irrawaddy. Take a horse cart to visit the left-over buildings of the Ava period including Bagayar Monastery, a huge teak wood structure. Visit ‘Maha Aung-mye Bonzan’ Me-Nu brick Monastery.
  • Proceed to Amarapura and enjoy the sun set view at U Bein Bridge.
  • Overnight at Mandalay.

Day 7:

  • After breakfast set out to MonYwa by car, about 136 km to the west of Mandalay. It is the commercial center of Chindwin Valley for Myanmar-India trade. 10 miles before MonYwa, turn right for sightseeing at Tham-Buddhay and Bodhi-Ta-Taung. Check in at hotel. And after refreshing, sightseeing at Monywa town for the afternoon. Visit Kyauk-kar Villages to see Shwe- Gu-Ni and village industry.
  • Overnight at Mon-Ywa.

Day 8:

  • After breakfast, visit Pho Win Taung (Mt. Po Win), Mt Shwe Ba (the entire mountain was carved into caves, niches, staircases and Buddha Images).
  • Over night at MonYwa.

Day 9:

  • After breakfast, set out to Pakokku by car. Sightseeing Yesagyo and Pakokku, which are the heartland of Myanmar right along the Central Yoma. Proceed to Bagan by boat from Pakkoku by the River Irrawaddy.
  • Overnight at Bagan.

Day 10:

  • Visit Nyaung-Oo Market, Shwe-zi-gon Pagoda, an exquisite feature of Myanmar stupa built on sandstones; Kyan-sit-thar U-min, a tunnel with fine intricate paintings; Wet-kyi-in Gu-byuk-kyi Temple with ancient mural paintings of Jartaka scenes.
  • Continue sightseeing Archeological Museum; Ananda Temple, a temple of massive and finest brick works. That-byin-nyu Temple, rising to a height of 201 feet above the ground overlooking other monuments around; Bu-pa-ya close to Ayeyarwaddy river and a fine place to enjoy sunset view.
  • Overnight at Bagan.

Day 11:

  • After breakfast, set out a 45 minutes drive to Mount Popa, Oasis of the dry zone.
  • Observe the Myanmar traditional pilgrimage spot at the base of Popa Taung-ka-lat : hut-shops-mall where local produce are displayed, food stalls and religious paraphernalia. It is kaleidoscopic view of Myanmar cultural images in display.
  • Faith of Buddhism as emerged along with local deities, believed to be protectors of Buddhism and of course the worshippers. The place is very colorful, highly animated and distinctly Burmese.
  • To visit palm tree farm of local village, on the way back to Bagan.
  • Lunch at Bagan. Continue sightseeing at the world’s renowned ancient city of Bagan. Visit lacquer ware workshop where detail processes could be observed along with the way of life from commercial industry.
  • Visit villages of Min-nan-thu Village and Pwa-saw Village around which numerous monuments will be observed. Sunset at Shwe-san –daw Pagoda.
  • Overnight at Bagan.

Day 12:

  • Bagan to Heho by domestic flight.
  • Upon arrival Heho Airport, proceed to Pindaya by car, visit Pindaya caves, traditional Shan Paper-Making Bamboo Umbrella and Bamboo Hat Making Workshops.
  • The journey continues on a narrow, winding and bumpy road through the Shan Hills to Inle Lake.
  • Overnight at Inle Lake.

Day 13:

  • After breakfast, full day sightseeing of Inle Lake. Tour highlights include
  • 5 day rotation Market at one of the village;
  • Intha Natives’ Method Of Fishing;
  • Gold and Silver Smith Workshop at Ywama Village;
  • Cheroot and Boat Making Workshops in Nan Pan Village.
  • Continue visit to Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda.
  • Afternoon, visit Shan Shoulder Bag Weaving Center;
  • Floating Garden and Nga Phe Chaung Monastery, better known as “Jumping Cat Monastery”.
  • Overnight at Inle Lake.

Day 14:

  • After breakfast visit Indein, accessed by a small river. Where there are more than thousand of ruined pagodas by visiting some floating villages and can see people life style.
  • Overnight at Inle Lake.

Day 15:

  • After breakfast transfer to Heho Airport. Take the flight to Than-dwe. Transfer from airport to hotel of Ngapali Beach by car.
  • Overnight at Inle Lake.

Day 16:

  • Beach stay at Ngapali Beach.
  • Overnight at Ngapali Beach

Day 17:

  • Beach stay at Ngapali Beach.
  • Overnight at Ngapali Beach.

Day 18:

  • Transfer to Than-dwe airport from hotel. Take the flight to Yangon.
  • Transfer to hotel. Sightseeing Yangon highlights.
  • Overnight at Yangon.

Day 19:

  • After breakfast transfer to Yangon International Airport from hotel. Departure Yangon by the evening flight.
